Wine Tunnel of the D.O. Monterrei in Vigo, one more step towards normality

During two shifts (from 12 to 14 hours, and from 17 to 21 hours), the doors of this Monterrei Wine Tunnel will be opened to sommeliers, professionals of the HORECA channel, teachers and students of hospitality schools, bloggers and media. In this space, where all the required hygienic and sanitary measures will be complied with, the soil and climatic characteristics of the designation, grape varieties, wine typology will be presented, in addition to the history and wine heritage of Monterrei.
On the other hand, attendees will also be able to know firsthand, 39 brands of wine from the wineries participating in the initiative: Ladairo, Pazos del Rey, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Quinta do Buble, Terras do Cigarrón, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Guerra Justo, Tabú, Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), Crego e Monaguillo, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Pazo de Valdeconde, Castro de Lobarzán, Manuel Vázquez Losada, Terrae Monterrei (Adegas Terrae) and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.

“This is the second initiative of its kind that we have promoted in recent weeks,” said C.R.D.O. Monterrei President Lara Da Silva, “and we hope that it has the same reception as that of A Coruña, since now is the time to consume wine from Monterrei and, in this way, continue to support our winegrowers and winemakers”.
