Start of the harvest campaign in the D.O. Monterrei
Tomorrow Monday September 6 begins the harvest campaign in the territory protected under the Designation of Origin Monterrei.
The first winery to start collecting grapes, in this 2021, will be Pazo das Tapias, located in the town of Pazos (Verín).
About the D.O. Monterrei
Monterrei is one of the five Galician wine appellations of origin. It covers the municipalities of Verín, Monterrei, Vilardevós, Riós, Oimbra and Castrelo do Val. It consists of 27 wineries. The vineyards of this D.O. occupy a total of 631 hectares of territory in which 383 winegrowers work.
