The wines of D.O. Monterrei travel to Gijón

Tomorrow 7 September begins the harvest campaign in the territory protected under the Designation of Origin Monterrei.
The first winery to start harvesting grapes, in 2025, will be Francisco Pérez Diéguez located in the town of Mandín (Verín).
About the D.O Monterrei
Monterrei is one of the five Galician wine designations of origin. It covers the municipalities of Verín, Monterrei, Vilardevós, Riós, Oímbra, Castrelo do Val, Laza and Cualedro. It is made up of 29 wineries. The vineyards of this D.O. occupy a total of 798.10 hectares of territory in which 381 winegrowers work.
