The D.O. Monterrei present at the XXX Festa da Castaña e do Cogomelo de Riós
30/10/2025The wines of the denomination will be present at Gastrónoma – Mediterranean Gastronomic Fair, which will take place from 26 to 28 October in Valencia.
This is the first time that Monterrei is part of this gastronomic event, and will do it under the auspices of the Axencia Galega da Calidade Alimentaria (AGACAL), inside the Wine Tunnel located in the Wine Experience area of Gastrónoma. This fair is the largest sectoral showroom in the country with more than 290 exhibitors and 200 speakers.
In the space of Monterrei will be offered information on the history of wine, soil and climate characteristics or typology of wines, among other issues. In addition, those who approach the area/s will be able to know the elaborations of the following registered wineries: Ladairo, Pazo das Tapias, Gargalo, José Luis Gómez Ibáñez (Valderello), José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Terras do Cigarrón, Triay, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Fragas do Lecer, Vía Arxéntea, Abeledos, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Franco Basalo, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Trasdovento, Fausto Rivero Pardo (Quinta Soutullo), Manuel Vázquez Losada and Manuel Regueiro García.
On the other hand, the wines of Monterrei will also participate in the different presentations of ‘Experiences de Calidade’ and ‘Galicia Sabe Amar’, which will take place during the three days of the fair.
