Information for winegrowers of the Monterrei Designation of Origin on the dispatch and validation date of the 2025 harvest and declaration to the FOGGA

By this announcement, the Regulatory Board of the Designation of Origin Monterrei, informs all its winemakers that, officially communicated on October 20th the “Validation of the harvest” granted by the Control and Certification Body of the Regulatory Board to the deliveries of grapes made to their titles during this harvest 2025, to wineries registered in the Designation of Origin Monterrei.

This “Validation of the harvest” was sent by post to the address of each registered winegrower.

Also, in view of the fourth additional provision of the Order of 22 September 2021 amending the annexes, deadlines and procedural rules of Decree 256/2011 of 7 December regulating the wine production potential of Galicia, and the second clause of the agreement signed between FOGGA, AGACAL and the Regulatory Board of the Monterrei Designation of Origin, if you have previously authorized this Regulatory Board to submit on your behalf the harvest declaration of the grape protected in the Designation of Origin Monterrei before the FOGGA, arranged, according to the communiqué in letter, until November 20, 2025 to make claims to such information. Once this period has elapsed without reply from you, we understand that you show your agreement with these data of the deliveries of grapes from your farm, authorizing this Regulatory Board to present them as a harvest declaration on your behalf.

If you have not given us your consent to submit such a declaration on your behalf, please note that you are obliged to do so yourself within the time limits laid down by law, for which purpose you may make use of the data provided in the document annexed to this validation.

We thank you for your collaboration during the 2025 campaign by facilitating the work carried out by the workers of this Regulatory Board to verify the origin and quality of our products so that they can be certified with maximum guarantees.
