The C.R.D.O. Monterrei signs a collaboration agreement with A.V.P.C. Verín

The C.R.D.O. Monterrei and the Council of Verín are the two most visible faces of the region. They attend international fairs and events together and form the largest projection of the image of this territory. For this reason they agree to join efforts to promote wines and the thermalism, culture and nature of Verín.
The president of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago, and the mayor of the Council of Verín, Gerardo Seoane, have signed a collaboration agreement between the two entities to take advantage of their synergies. “Between the two organizations”, said Seoane, “we attended dozens of tourist, wine and cultural events at the end of the year: we have to take advantage of a powerful joint image as a destination for leisure, thermal, culture and wine tourism”.
For his part, the president of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei highlighted “the traditional collaboration of Concello and Denomination, as in the celebration of the Wine Fair” which should, according to his words, “deepen and go to more, to take advantage of all the windows that can make us more desirable and make known our resources”.
Convention
In this sense, the text of the agreement signed between the two entities recognizes “their common interest in the promotion and economic revitalization of the region of Monterrei”, and for this they manifest “its intention to take advantage of the promotional synergies and public windows to which both access, to contribute to the positioning of Verín as a wine, thermal and heritage destination”.
Likewise, the Council of Verín, as a regional nucleus and center of services of the wine and wine-tourism territory of this territory, and urban nucleus of its tourist and thermal offer, expresses its interest in dynamizing, to publicise and promote the unique nature of the oenological and emerging wine tourism that Monterrei wines represent.
For its part, the Denomination of Origin Monterrei, as entity responsible for the promotion and development of wine in the region, is immersed in the expansion, growth and internationalization of the offer and wine products of the region, so you need to maximize all opportunities and outreach mechanisms.
Both entities therefore recognize their common interest in the areas of development of their territorial brand and dissemination of their wine and cultural offer, thus declaring “its intention to cooperate in the common fields of formation, dissemination of the identity of the territory of the region of Verín and Monterrei”.
