The designation of origin Monterrei will participate in the Galicia Gastronomic Forum, which will be held from 07 to 09 April in A Coruña.
The C.R.D.O. Monterrei will be part of the joint space of the Axencia Galega de Calidade Alimentaria (AGACAL). In it you can taste wines from the following wineries registered in the denomination: Trasdovento, Abeledos, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Crego e Monaguillo, Fragas do Lecer, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), Manuel Guerra Justo (Vía Arxéntea), Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán) y Terras do Cigarrón.
The Monterrei space will also offer information on the wine territory, history, soil and climate characteristics, grape varieties or wine typology, among other aspects. In addition, the whites and reds of the denomination will be present in two tastings of the ‘Calidade Experiences’ program, one will be on Monday at 18.30, and the second on Tuesday 9, at 14.30 (in this case by the hand of IXP Galician veal).
“With the attendance to this fair, the D.O. Monterrei intends to influence the professional sector, since it brings together companies in the distribution sector, hospitality and market agents, in addition to having a wide program of activities”, highlights the president, Jonatás Gago García. “The last edition of 2022 received 22,000 visitors, so our presence at this fair will strengthen our brand image, and will be an important platform to show our wines to the consumer and promote new marketing channels,” concludes the president.
