The Monterrei Designation of Origin continues its presentation to professionals on 9 June, landing in six emblematic establishments in the capital of the Turia that will offer wines from 19 wineries in a unique way, through a remarkable range of modern actions to bring this Galician territory to the winelovers of the Mediterranean arc.
The D.O. Monterrei counts for this action with the collaboration of outstanding spaces of the wine and gastronomic panorama valencian. Restaurants, wine bars and specialist shops in the Valencian capital. Tastings, wine by the glass, unique harmonies with products of zero kilometer and even high level gastronomic menus.
And as if to show a button, last Friday 27 June the actions began with an exceptional tasting at Mercader. The gastronomic space of El Cabanyal was “the smile” with a unique tasting that hung the sign of “complete”. This old cooperage restored with great taste by the Mercabanyal Group has become the perfect meeting place for lovers of gastronomy, wine and good times in company.
La Marítima, in Veles e Vents, and La Ferrera will put the high gastronomy note to action, while Bodega Biosca, the emblematic business of the neighborhood of Ruzafa, will become a perfect refuge for this Galician territory. Finally, Vinostrum and Travieso, will put the most daring clasp to the action, harmonizing the godellos cups, mencías and rest of native varieties of the D.O. Monterrei, with tapas with remarkable roots in the Valencian lands.
