At this year’s event, 36 wines (23 whites and 13 reds) from 18 wineries will represent the Monterrei Designation of Origin at this international trade show. The wineries attending Prowein will be: Minius, Pazo das Tapias, Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Terra de Godello, Tabú, Alba Al-Bar, Vía Arxéntea, Crego e Monaguillo, Fragas do Lecer, Manuel Vázquez Losada, Gargalo, Abeledos, Manuel Regueiro García (Serra de Alén), Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Quinta do Buble, Terras do Cigarrón, and Triay Adegas de Oímbra.

The event will be attended under the auspices of the Galician Food Quality Agency (AGACAL), alongside the other Galician wine appellations, and through the “Wine Tunnel” format, the participating white and red wines will be showcased, along with the wine-growing region, its soil and climate characteristics, and the types of grapes and wines, among other aspects.
“Prowein is a key trade show for Monterrei wines; participating in this major event for the distribution and import-export sectors will allow the Monterrei brand and its wines to continue establishing themselves in international markets,” says Manuel Vázquez Losada, president of the Monterrei Regional Designation of Origin (CRDO).
