The C.R.D.O. Monterrei and ABANCA agree new support measures for wineries and winegrowers

The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Monterrei and ABANCA have renewed, once again, their collaboration with a new financiero agreement that grows with new credit options to meet the demands of winegrowers and wineries of this denomination of origin.

The president of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei, Jonatás Gago, and the director of zone of ABANCA in Ourense Este, María José López, have signed today in Verín a new agreement that reinforces the commitment of the financiera entity with a key sector of the local and strategic economy for Galicia.

The agreement provides the members of this designation of origin to ABANCA’s sectoral offer for the wine sector under improved conditions. The catalogue includes financial products covering essential needs, such as a sector-specific credit policy, with a term of up to five years, or different formulas such as loans for campaign expenditure, advance for harvests and subsidies or advances for CAP aid, among others.

Another relevant aspect of the agreement is the Agro Multidestination Financing Line of ABANCA, a product that allows single professionals in a single contract the most common financing of working. This is a recurring line which is a pioneer in the sector and which allows three destinations to be grouped together: the advance on CAP aid, expenditure on agricultural years and the financing of agricultural insurance premiums contracted with the financial institution. In this way, they will have the funds available according to the needs that may arise during the year.

The new agreement also offers other lines that aim to boost investments linked to projects linked to sustainability and In addition, it allows members of this designation of origin access to the different lines of official funding included in the agreements that the entity maintains with various public bodies.

On the other hand, with the aim of improving the quality of service and providing more personalized attention, the financiera will make available to producers and winegrowers personnel specialized in insurance management, who will advise on policies that best suit your needs.
