The wines of the denomination will be present in Barcelona Wine Week, which will take place from 03 to 05 February. It is the fourth time that the promotion of the protected product of Monterrei in this wine show, which will bring together 75 quality labels and more than 1,100 wineries.
As in previous editions, the Regulatory Board will have its own space, where information on soil and climate characteristics, wine typologies, grape varieties or viticultural tradition, among other aspects, will be offered. Also, the/ as who come to this stand can know the elaboration of the following wineries registered: Trasdovento, Minius, Alejandro Ramón Blanco Dijkhoff (Ramón Bigotes), Ladairo, Pazo de Valdeconde, Alba Al-Bar (Daniel Fernández), Vía Arxéntea, Castro de Lobarzán, Crego e Monaguillo, Fragas do Lecer, Franco Basalo, Gargalo, José Antonio Da Silva Pereira (Vinos Lara), José Luis Mateo García (Quinta da Muradella), Manuel Regueiro García, Manuel Vázquez Losada, Pazo Blanco Núñez (Tapias Mariñán), Terras do Cigarrón and Triay.
By attending this fair, the entity seeks to influence the professional sector. “The last edition was attended by 21,000 professionals, of whom 20% were international, from countries such as the United States, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and China”, says C.R.D.O. Monterrei’s president, Manuel Vázquez Losada. “Therefore, participation is essential, not only to boost the brand image, but also to open business opportunities and thus facilitate new marketing channels for our wineries,” he adds.
