The territorial delegate of the Xunta in Ourense receives the president of the C.R.D.O. Monterrei

The territorial delegate of the Xunta in Ourense, Gabriel Alén, received this morning in audience the president of the Monterrei Regulatory Council, Jonatás Gago, after his election as the new head of this Designation of Origin.

In this first meeting, they talked about the demands and needs of this strategic sector, and the territorial delegate has transferred the commitment of the Xunta to continue working for its development, recalling initiatives such as the launch of the new cycle of FP Olive oils and wines in the IES García Barbón or the strategy of economic, territorial and tourist revitalization of the wine regions of Galicia, which aims to consolidate our wines in the national and international markets and enhance both the brand image and identity as tourism linked to the territories where they are produced.
