Valencia gives in to the wines of D.O. Monterrei

The next edition of the Feira do Viño in Monterrei already has an announcement poster. The selected proposal, by Ángel Ligero Martínez, has been chosen from a total of 56 works submitted to the competition promoted by C.R.D.O. Monterrei.
The author of this work, presented under the motto “Mi tierra, mi vino, mi fiesta”, is a designer and painter. Passionate about the world of signage where he has participated, for 25 years, in different competitions. He has won many of them, such as the San Sebastián Jazz Festival, Ortigueira Festival, carnivals in Bilbao, Vitoria or Conil, festivals in Haro, Caudete, San Roques Alfareños or Cabalgata de Reyes Magos de Alcoy, among others.
The jury responsible for choosing the winning poster was composed by Manuel Vázquez, president of the Consello Regulador de la D.O Monterrei, Alberto Fernández and José Fernando Boo, vocalists of the entity; Samanta Barreira, councilor of Culture, Consevatorio, Festexos e Turismo do Concello de Verín, María del Pilar Salgado, teacher of arts and crafts, Xosé Rivada and Fernando Barreira, plastic artists.
